I always wonder why no bio has been published about him.

They write some many books on far less important thinkers. Why not a book about him. Agree or disagree with this work, he is still a great thinker.

didn't he grow up in a small town in Colorado, I recall? And he was a bookish and solitary boy, spending a lot of time alone in the woods and reading? A precocious and searching child ... ?

And I recall how he had given up on the mushrooms that he had been trying to grow with his brother Dennis because his grilfriend had broken up with him and he took it really hard. A good month later he went to the shed out back that they had been growing the mushrooms in to get a tool or something that he needed. When he opened the door, the long trays of manure were covered in mushrooms. He took this as a sign and also enable him to finally grow the mushrooms consistantly. He and Dennis published the first grow book for psilocybin mushrooms based on these experiences. Terence learned from studying the commercial mushroom industry and experimenting with their techniques.
